Individuals, couples, and families, although they want to connect, may feel stuck and alone. Past and current experiences, including hurt, trauma, abuse, broken trust, and/or loss, may be the cause. Or perhaps it is due to lack of relational and social skills, such as communication. I help people resolve these challenges in order for them to be able to connect, and stay connected, in healthy and meaningful ways.
I also work with couples who are considering marriage to develop relational skills, learn how to have healthy conflict, and recognize and navigate successfully through difficult times while remaining connected.
Here are some of the areas in which I can help you achieve your goals:
Individuals: Trauma, anxiety, depression, abandonment, rejection, anger, relational problems and fear of intimacy, lack of confidence, grief, guilt, shame, social skills development, negative spiritual experiences, sexuality issues
Couples: Pre-marital counseling, marriage enrichment, communication skills, loss of intimacy and affection, loss of sexual intimacy, affairs (hurt and guilt), contemplating divorce, divorce recovery, preparing for new relationships
Families: Parenting skills, equipping parents to raise healthy kids (even if your childhood was difficult), reconnecting broken relationships, blended family challenges, single parenting, helping kids navigate living in two homes
